Who We Are

All About You Answering Service (AAY) is a live customer support and receptionist service operated as a social enterprise of the Center for Living and Learning (CLL), a nonprofit organization founded in 1993. Since 2001, AAY has combined professional call handling for businesses with hands-on training and transitional employment for CLL program graduates.

The success of All About You is centered on two ingredients: Provide a live telephone answering service specializing in providing businesses with professional and friendly representatives who will help their customers get the service and professionalism that they deserve through our telephone answering service and simultaneously help disadvantaged individuals acquire and maintain stable employment.

CLL’s newest endeavor is bringing back the human touch to small businesses. With this professional answering service, independent companies, and individuals may have their calls answered by our skilled customer service specialists. These specialists are trained from CLL’s apprenticeship program so that they are adequately equipped to run this professional answering service. Individuals in this program act as a virtual receptionist, answering calls, taking messages and providing valuable customer support and much needed human interaction that is so valuable to small businesses’ reputation in this busy day and age.


Our History

Rooted in Los Angeles, AAY grew out of CLL’s mission to help individuals build independence through real-world job skills and supportive employment. Over the years, we’ve supported small businesses and professionals — including attorneys, skilled trades, home services, solar installation companies, medical and service offices and various nonprofits — with reliable live answering, message & dispatch, scheduling, and tailored scripts that reflect each organization’s voice. AAY is currently working as the answering service and customer service center for the San Fernando Valley Employer Advisory Council with professionals taking messages and assisting with membership renewals and seminar registrations.

Drawing on CLL’ s vast experience operating a nationwide car donation program that has provided paid job and computer training to over 300 individuals, CLL decided to launch All About You Answering Service to provide jobs for those who need them most. In recent years the declining car donation industry has dramatically affected the donations to smaller charities such as CLL. This new community answering service venture will help CLL gain funds and provide valuable training and jobs for individuals in need of support.

How We Work

Through CLL’s Apprenticeship and Job Readiness Programs, trainees gain paid experience in customer care, call center operations, and office support while learning accountability, technology, and communication skills. This dual mission ensures that every call you entrust to AAY also supports workforce reintegration and career development.
